Will This Voltra Mount Fit My Rack?

Match your upright size, hole / push-pin size, and (for dual-pin or bolt-on) spacing before you buy.

Voltra Mounts is an independent, privately owned company with no affiliation or connection with Beyond Power or its parent company. Our Mounts are built for the Beyond Power VOLTRA I for individuals using various manufacturers’ 3×3 power racks.

How to measure lives on a separate page. If you still need tube, hole, or spacing method, start with How to Measure Your Rack for Voltra Mounts, then use this page as the buy decision checklist.

The 60-second fit check (3 decisions)

Use this as a checklist. For measurement method and diagrams, open the linked Measure steps.

Decision 1: Upright size

Most Mounts ship sized for a true 3×3 imperial upright. If your upright is a different size, the included shim kit is for a quick adjustment.

  • When a product offers other upright sizes (for example 3×2, 2×3, or 2×2): Our mount designs stay the same. Fit comes from sized chafe pads (and the related shim/pad kit) for the size you choose — pick the upright size that matches your rack so the pads arrive ready to fit.
  • Flat Foot (~2.0″–2.3″ low-profile) → Evolver Flat Foot line, not a standard-height 3×3 pin mount.
  • Organization / facility / odd tube / wall → Custom Designed Mount (Custom Quotes).

Decision 2: Hole / push-pin size (1″ vs 5/8″)

Shop the collection that matches your hole diameter or the push pin you already use for the hole where that mount will sit. Some racks mix hole sizes by location (for example Rogue Flat Foot: 1″ on the upright and 5/8″ on a floor crossmember) — match each mount to the hole it uses.

5/8" 5/8" push-pin mounts

Small play on a correct pin size is often normal — use the shim kit. Shims do not convert 5/8″ ↔ 1″.

Decision 3: Spacing / geometry

  • Dual-pin: Nearly all dual-pin mounts use 2″ spacing (top-edge to top-edge). The same mount does accommodate a metric layout through an elongated hole — confirm on the product page.
  • Bolt-on (e.g. Simple Upright): match the pattern on the product page (Simple Upright uses 6″ centers). See the bolt-on collection.
  • Drop / Omni / Doubler / Rogue T-Bar: choose pin size first, then pick geometry. Rogue T-Bar is 1″ single-pin only. Browse drop, Omni, or Doubler collections.

Special measuring notes

Special measuring note — drop mounts: each drop mount lists a specific drop distance in its specs. Measure the free space under your chosen pin height and compare it to that product’s drop specification so you have clearance.

Imperial vs metric / play / shim kit

We ship all standard Mounts sized for true imperial 3×3 uprights.

Yes — no problem at all for typical metric 3×3 / ~75 mm uprights. The difference is only about 1.2 mm (roughly 3/64″). The included shim stack gives you 1.75 mm of fine-tuning, which covers that gap for most racks. If you need more, contact us — we’re glad to support what you need.

How small is ~1.2 mm? Everyday scale references:

Reference Approx. thickness
DVD / CD ~1.2 mm (same ballpark)
1½ credit cards stacked ~1.14 mm
U.S. dime 1.35 mm
U.S. penny 1.52 mm
18-gauge steel ~0.0478″ (~1.21 mm)
  • The shim kit fine-tunes play (side and base shims in 0.25 / 0.5 / 1.0 mm sizes; stackable). Details: Shim kit installation.
  • Organization / facility / odd tube / wall → Custom Quotes.

Quick brand shortcuts

Brand names are shortcuts, not a substitute for Step 2. Always measure your own holes.

As a typical guide only (confirm by measuring): Rogue Monster family racks commonly use 1" holes; Monster Lite commonly uses 5/8". Shop the matching collection after you confirm.

A fuller brand matrix is planned as a separate compatibility page. Until then, measure first, then shop the matching collection.

FAQ

Will a Voltra mount fit my power rack?

If you have a true 3×3 upright and you match the hole / pin size (1″ or 5/8″), yes for standard catalog Mounts. Measure first. Several products also let you choose other upright sizes (for example 2×2, 3×2, or 2×3); we size the chafe pads for that option. Truly odd tubes, wall stations, or facility installs still go through Custom Quotes.

Are these Mounts universal?

No. Fit needs upright size plus pin / hole size — and spacing for dual-pin or bolt-on patterns. These Mounts are not one-size-for-every-rack attachments.

Do I need a 1" or 5/8" mount?

Match your rack’s hole diameter or the push pin you already use for the hole where that Mount will sit. Shop the matching collection. Some racks mix hole sizes by location — match each Mount to the hole it uses.

Does a Mount include the push pin?

No. The push pin is not included.

Do I need a DIY Dock?

The DIY Dock is the interface the VOLTRA I seats on. Include it at checkout if you do not already have one; otherwise choose Mount only.

Will it fit a metric / 75 mm rack?

Yes — no problem at all for typical metric 3×3 / ~75 mm uprights. We ship all standard Mounts sized for true imperial 3×3; the difference is only about 1.2 mm (roughly 3/64″). The included shim stack gives you 1.75 mm of fine-tuning, which covers that gap for most racks. If you need more, contact us.

Everyday scale for ~1.2 mm: DVD/CD (~1.2 mm); 1½ credit cards (~1.14 mm); U.S. dime (1.35 mm); U.S. penny (1.52 mm); 18-ga steel (~0.0478″). See the Imperial vs metric table above for the full comparison.

How do I measure my hole spacing?

Measure from the top edge of one hole to the top edge of the next hole the mount will use. That equals center-to-center and is usually more precise because you have a hard edge to land the tape on. Match that number to the dual-pin spacing on the product page (or to bolt-on patterns like Simple Upright at 6″).

What’s the difference between measuring for pin mounts vs bolt-on?

Not much for measuring. Both need hole diameter and hole spacing (center-to-center, or top edge to top edge). Pin mounts use those holes with a push pin; bolt-ons use them with bolts on a matching pattern — for example Simple Upright at 6″ centers. Match the numbers to the product page either way.

Is Voltra Mounts part of Beyond Power?

No. Voltra Mounts is an independent, privately owned company with no affiliation or connection with Beyond Power or its parent company. Our Mounts are built for the Beyond Power VOLTRA I for individuals using various manufacturers’ 3×3 power racks. Device and app support stay with Beyond Power.
