Official notice. On September 9, 2026, Voltra Mounts notified a very small, selective group of recent Travel Platform Doubler Plate buyers (orders since August 31, 2026 — 10 customers) about a possible hardware-kit issue.
Summary of the issue. During a quality check, Voltra Mounts determined that some Travel Platform Doubler Plate hardware kits may include 35 mm (~1.38 in) screws instead of the correct 45 mm (~1.77 in) screws. A 35 mm screw may engage the threads, but it will not fully seat to the extent required.
This notice is provided so affected customers can verify their hardware before install, or before continued use if the plate is already installed.
What customers should do
- Compare the screws included with your Travel Platform Doubler Plate to the reference photo on the product/Help materials (45 mm / ~1.77 in correct vs 35 mm / ~1.38 in incorrect).
- If needed, measure overall screw length. The correct length is 45 mm (~1.77 in).
